He views the concept of “team” as faith and emphasizes the operating philosophy of entrepreneurship partnership. Stan Shih, Acer’s co-founder, returned as Chairman in November 2013 with the objective of leading the company through a third corporate transformation and back to profitability. Shih dedicated his efforts to promoting public interests after his initial retirement from Acer at the end of 2004. In recent years, he has been publicly speaking on the Wangdao ideology in relation to organizational sustainability in modern times, and hopes to engrain its principles into Acer to reshape the corporate culture. Through this, Shih expects to help Acer set a new business direction, develop more competitive products, and invest in new potential businesses of the future. A social entrepreneur all his life, Shih serves as the chairman of Stans Foundation and iD SoftCapital Group. In social and public services, he is the chairman of APEC Digital Opportunity Center 2.0 project’s non-government steering committee, and the chairman of National Culture and Arts Foundation. He is on the board of directors of National Chiang Kai-Shek Cultural Center and Taiwan Public Television Service Foundation.Shih also serves on the Boards of BenQ, Wistron, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company and Nan Shan Life Insurance Company. He is a former chairman and current member of the Asia Business Council.

Pradeep Guha is currently Managing Director of 9X Media Pvt. Ltd., a television broadcasting company (with five satellite channels) aimed at youth audiences.Immediately prior to 9X Media, Pradeep finished a very successful three-and-a-half year stint as the Global CEO of India’s largest publicly traded satellite broadcasting network, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.In his previous avatar Pradeep was associated with the print medium for 29 years and was President and Executive Director of The Times of India Group. At The Times of India, Pradeep was the Publisher of The Times of India, Femina and Filmfare brands for 10 years. He was also the Director of the Filmfare Awards and the Femina Miss India Contest. During his 8-year stint in this role, India won seven international titles (Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Asia Pacific) to etch India’s name permanently in the annals of pageant history. Pradeep’s contribution in showcasing India’s marketing to the World began with his initiative to get India empanelled at the Cannes Advertising Festival as the first representative of the Festival in India. Pradeep helmed the conceptualization, organization and execution of Asia’s largest biennial advertising Congress, AdAsia that was held in Jaipur, India in 2003. He is currently the Vice-President and Area Director of IAA for the Asia Pacific Region.

Mr. Raymond So graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Master degree in Business Administration. His advertising career began at DDB Needham Hong Kong in 1981. Raymond joined J. Walter Thompson in 1986 to set up JWT China from zero. He is one of the first pioneers when advertising was first introduced back into China after 1949. In 1988, Raymond moved to Taiwan and founded JWT Taiwan. Raymond was promoted to Chairman & CEO, JWT North East Asia in 1997. He was also appointed the first Chinese Director in the JWT Worldwide Board. Nov 2001, Raymond joined BBDO as Chairman, Asia Pacific and took charge of the development of the BBDO Asia Pacific network. He left BBDO in 2006 and became an independent consultant. Raymond also served as Chairman of the 4As and IAA Chapter President in Taiwan. In 2002, Raymond was elected as the first Chinese World Vice President of the IAA and served six years in that capacity. He received the “IAA Champions Award” in 2013 for his contribution to the industry. Raymond’s latest appointment as Vice Chairman of the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations reflects his continual service and recognition in the Asian advertising community.
Dr. Rick L. Tsai has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Chunghwa Telecom since January 2014. His focus upon assuming the Chairman’s position was to ensure a seamless 4G service launch and to promote digital convergence in the domestic telecom industry. Under his leadership and supervision, Chunghwa Telecom became the first 4G operator in Taiwan by the end of May 2014, leading Taiwan into the 4G era. On the digital convergence front, Chairman Tsai focuses on deepening customer relationships via offering a wide range of services to households. Chairman Tsai’s vision is for Chunghwa to become a close partner in its customers’ daily digital lives. He aims to transform the company into an Information and Communications Technology company. At Yahoo, Dennis Buchheim contributes his 12 years of experience in ad tech to his role leading product management for programmatic display ad products and targeting, including Yahoo Audience Ads, Yahoo Ad Manager Plus, and Yahoo Ad Exchange. Dennis started his career designing and developing consumer and enterprise software products at industry stalwarts Apple and Oracle. He later co-founded and led product management and marketing at iHarvest, which launched award-winning tools for capturing, annotating, and sharing web content, before being acquired by Interwoven in 2001. He then served as Inktomi’s GM of paid inclusion and, after Yahoo acquired the company, he expanded this business before going on to lead product marketing for Yahoo’s publisher partners. Dennis joined Microsoft in 2007 to launch syndication of advertising and web search.

Born in the Netherlands in 1978. Nobu’s childhood years was mostly spent in Hong Kong and the US until he came back to Japan at age 18. After graduating from Keio University in 2001, Nobu joined global marketing department at Fujifilm Holdings Corporation. In 2006, Nobu finally met Adways, one of the largest mobile advertising companies in Japan and it did not take long until he became a manager of mobile ad business group. In 2011, Nobu was appointed as an executive officer and two years later he became a director of global business development group. Nobu spearheads Adways’ global expansion in Asia and also in the US.

Ralph is one of the founders and Managing Partner of a digital and social media communications consulting company called CMRS Digital Solutions Limited in Hong Kong. Their core business offerings include social media intelligence and monitoring, social media content creation and management, email marketing, mobile marketing and digital marketing consultancy, etc. CMRS is the corporate member of Hong Kong Association of Interactive Marketing (HKAIM) and HK4As. Last year, the company is the winner of the Silver Award and Local Hero of [Best Social Media Agency] hosted by Marketing Magazine. Ralph is also actively joining various industry organizations. Mr Khoo Kar Khoon is a qualified Accountant by profession (ACMA) that started his career with Coopers & Lybrand in 1990 dealing with financial management; human resource issues; foreign business partnerships; business operation and crisis management. His first advertising exposure was started in Bates Advertising Malaysia in 1992 - 1997. His initial involvement was mainly on cost accounting and operation, but with his intense commitment in the business subsequently, it has allowed him to participate in the full operation of the advertising business that involved prominent businesses like MTC, Dutch Lady, HSBC, GAB, Telecom, Southern Lion, Lam Soon, Nokia, etc. As a strong advocate of adverting and young talent development, Khoo is currently a volunteer and a member of the Board Of Advisory of UUM (Universiti Utara Malaysia) as well as a Board Member of IACT (Institute of Advertising College and Training) – a college that jointly owned by the key associations in the advertising industry (MAA and 4As). Jayne Leung is the Head of Greater China at Facebook, responsible for the advertising business in the region. She joined Facebook from the Rubicon Project, where she served the California-based company to build out their first Asia operation. Prior to that Jayne was with DoubleClick/Google as the APAC Head of New Media Sales.

Adam is the General Manager for the Asia Pacific and Greater China at Microsoft Advertising.In his role, Adam is responsible for growing digital advertising revenue across Microsoft’s online advertising properties, including Windows 8 Ads in Apps, MSN, Skype, Bing,Outlook.com and mobile. Adam leads a multimarket team across Asia Pacific and Greater China region with the goal of helping brands connect with people across work, life and play with timely, relevant advertising. Adam has been with Microsoft for more than 17 years. Having Internet software development and business management experience in more than a decade, and He also has worked in senior management positions at well-known Internet companies such as, Microsoft, Qihoo 360, etc. He was in charge of 360 Wireless business department, and he was responsible for 360 mobile browser, mobile desktop, mobile assistant and other core products. Since 2012, he has led Sina Weibo business platform & Product department, which has achieved the transformation from marketing platform to business social marketing plus services platform; the build-up of Weibo social business platform product and business systems has led the rapid growth of expansion and revenue of Weibo commercial system.
Tim Doherty joined Isobar China in the summer of 2008. At Isobar China, Tim has worked on such brands as Coca-Cola, Coke Zero, Minute Maid, Budweiser, and adidas. Prior to Isobar, Tim worked at DRAFTFCB in both Shanghai and New York. In New York, he worked on the global Motorola account, leading the redesign of both motorola.com and their e-commerce platform, The Moto Store. In Shanghai, he worked principally on the Shanghai General Motors account. While in New York, Tim also worked at Ogilvy for more than six years, creating award-winning work for IBM, Perrier, and Ameritrade, among others. Tim has been recognized nationally (within both the US and China), and internationally by every major industry award show including Cannes Lions, One Show, London International Advertising Awards, Spikes Asia, Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards, Greater China Click!Awards and the China Interactive Advertising Awards. When not working, Tim tries hard to improve his Chinese by attending classes and watching Chinese soap operas and game shows.

Amanda Liu is the Director of DOIT Taiwan (Delivering Opening Innovations for Tomorrow) and a Consultant in MIC (Market Intelligence & Consulting Institute), a Taipei-based ICT industry research institute. Amanda dedicates on cultivating Taiwan's power of creation, innovation, and entrepreneurship. By bringing DOIT Taiwan to collaborate with partners around the world, Amanda manages to provide supports and consulting services of market information and brand management to Taiwan's would-be entrepreneurs. Prior to joining MIC, she was the Group Account Director at Ogilvy Public Relations, Taiwan, where she had amassed considerable experience in integrated marketing and media communications through cooperating with various enterprises, including Samsung, Nokia, Nokia Siemens, Louis Vuitton, Nestle, General Mills, Adidas, Hong Kong Disneyland, and numerous startup companies. Jamie Lin is an entrepreneur turned venture investor. He’s the Founding Partner of AppWorks Ventures, a US$ 11M Super Angel Fund located in Taipei, Taiwan with a focus on the Mobile Internet and Consumer Internet. AppWorks runs an accelerator program, inspired by Y-Combinator, that has helped more than 170 startups, including EZTABLE, the leading online restaurant booking service in Southeast Asia and PubGame, one of the leading web and mobile game publishers in Southeast Asia. Prior to AppWorks, Jamie was once an Associate at HSS Ventures and an Analyst at All Asia Partners. During his life as an entrepreneur, Jamie co-founded Social Sauce, which is behind travel social network Sosauce.com and web 3D game production house Muse Games. Prior to that, he co-founded Intumit, the leader in Chinese search engine technologies, and Hotcool.com, a build-to-order online PC retailer, among other things.

Koki Takahashi majors in Political Economy, English Literature and Critical Theory, and graduated from University of Southern California (USC). In 2001, he was appointed as an adviser to Funai Zaisan Consultants. He founded In-Think co., Ltd. and was appointed as an adviser to Joint Corporation and a policy adviser to Governor of Oita prefecture in 2004. In 2005, he was appointed as an adviser to Shu Uemura and L`Oreal. In 2010, he was appointed as the Advisor to PricewaterhouseCoopers co., Ltd., and in 2013, he was appointed as an adviser to Vision Studio Japan Co., Ltd.
PhD in Civil Engineering from Cornell University, Simon was a professor in Civil Engineering at the National Taiwan University, Director of Planning & Evaluation at the National Science Council, Vice President at Acer e-Business Group, and more recently Regional Director of Hardware Operations at Google Inc. As the first Cabinet member with solid portfolio from the IT industry, Simon joined the government in 2012. Being the cross-agency minister designated to review and coordinate science and technology policies at national level, he was placed as next to the Premier in leading the Board of Science and Technology. He has also taken on the added roles as the convener of the National Information and Communications Initiative Committee, and the government Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer since 2012. In 2014, Simon was appointed the Minister of Science & Technology. On this position, Simon is responsible to continue the momentum of academic research, and foster the research results for practical applications.
